BSNL – the Largest Landline Service Provider in India has decided to offer Unlimited Free Night Calls to Any Network from it’s Landline phones. As per the latest information from BSNL sources, the Unlimited calling offer will be made available to all Landline & Broadband customers of BSNL from 01.05.2015 onwards.
BSNL has taken this decision in an attempt to popularize its landline services on PAN India basis. Under the revised tariff plans, BSNL users will be able to make unlimited free calls on any mobile and landline phone within India during night hours i.e. from 9 PM to 7 AM.

It is quite unfair the the facility of night free calls is denied to land line subscribers with combo plans. This is clear discrimination. They are not even allowed to make free calls to off net numbers within the free calls allowed under the plan. The BSNL authorities may kindly reconsider this stand and take necessary action to allow the facility of night free calls to all land line subscribers.
It is unfair that the facility of night free calls is not applicable to land line subscribers with combo plans who are paying high rates of rent. They are not even allowed to ,make free calls to off net numbers within the free calls allowed under the plan. This is clear discrimination. The BSNL authorities may kindly reconsider their stand and make necessary arrangements to allow the facility of night free calls to all land line subscribers.

As part of the present liberalization the following facilities may also be allowed :
1. The earlier discount of 20% allowed to Govt./Retd. Govt. servants
may be restored.
2. The broadband speed for unlimited combo plans may be kept
steady without any limit in usage.
3. The restriction (only onnete calls) for availing the free calls under
the combo plans may be abolished.
4. The facility, which was earlier available in metro cities, to know the
usage in land lines may be restored.
