Customers, who do not intend to use their landline / broadband / Bharat Fiber (FTTH) / BBoWiFi connection for more than three months period and want to ensure that their line is not misused in their absence, can avail the Safe Custody Plan at very nominal charges. The phone connection will be disabled for the period of safe custody.
Charges for BSNL Landline/Broadband/FTTH/BBoWiFi Safe Custody Plan
The safe custody charges will be Rs. 50/- per month for urban areas and Rs. 30/- per month for Rural areas.

What is the Minimum Period for Safe Custody?
The minimum period of safe custody will be three months. The charges will be paid in advance. The charges are to be paid in advance.
How to Activate BSNL Safe Custody Plan?
The service shall be permitted only on written request of the authorized subscriber to concerned commercial officer at nearesr BSNL Customer Service Center (BSNL CSC) clearly indicating that the connection (Landline / Bharat Fiber / BBoWiFi) is to be kept under 'Safe Custody' from the date. The advance rent also need to be paid at the time of application for the safe custody period.
Whether we have to return the BSNL Accessories on Safe Custody ?
The Modem / CPE / Accessories supplied by the BSNL are to be submitted along with the application form for keeping the telephone / broadband connection under safe custody plan.
How to restore BSNL landline / Broadband / FTTH connection from Safe Custody?
BSNL landline / broadband / FTTH connection will be released only on written request from the customer.
