Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the launch of Auto Validity extension facility for validity expired prepaid mobile customers in prepaid mobile plans 1999 & 2399. As per the latest information, the scheme was launched by BSNL on 10th January 2021.
If a prepaid mobile customer in Plan 1999 has main account balance more than or equal to Rs 1999/- on the first day of Grace Period 1, then Rs 1999/- will be deducted from the main account balance and validity will be extended automatically without any bundled Value Added Services (VAS) like BSNL Tunes, Lokdhun or EROS Now etc. If the main account balance is less than Rs 1999/- and more than Rs 2/-, then Rs 2/- will be deducted on the first day of Grace Period 1 and validity will be extended by 3 days in the same plan without any freebies.
An Official statement regarding the launch of auto validity extension scheme for Plan 1999 & 2399 read as follows:-
Approval is of hereby conveyed to implement auto validity extension in respect Plan 1999(TPCOSPKERLO1999) & PIan 2399 (TPCOSPKER2399) as given below with effect from 10-01-2021.
1) lf a customer has main account balance rnore than or equal to Rs.1999/- or Rs.2399/-, deduct Rs.1999/- or Rs.2399/- respectively on the first day of GP1 and migrate the customer to “Plan 1999” or “Plan 2399′ with plan freebies, validity & without VAS services (BSNL Tunes/Lokdhun & EROS Now).
2) lf a customer has main account balance more than Rs.2/- and less than Rs.1999/- or Rs.2399/-, deduct Rs.2/- on the first day of GP1 and migrate the customer to “PIan 1999” or “Plan 2399” with plan validity of 3 days arid without plan freebies.
The above auto validity extension facility is available to BSNL Prepaid Mobile Customers in all other tariff plans also. Plan validity in respect of Mithram Plus, Per Min, Per Sec, Plan 108, Plan 153, Plans 199/485/666/365/997/999/1999 will be extended corresponding to validity of STV/Combo Vouchers (except for STVs 25, 58,168) recharged via CTOPUP/Online when validity of recharged STV is more than existing plan validity.
