National telecom backbone and India’s largest wireline (fixed line) telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has decided to offer One Static IP address with 8Mbps Unlimited Broadband plan ‘BBG Combo ULD 1441‘ in all the circles from 1st July 2016 on wards.
As we reported last year, BSNL regularized promotional 8 Mbps Unlimited broadband plan ‘BBG Combo ULD 1441’ on PAN India basis with effect from 06-07-2015. However, the provision of static IP address was not available with BBG Combo ULD 1441 plan till now.
Now based on the request from customers and field units, BSNL authorities has decided to offer one Static IP address (on request) under Broadband plan ‘BBG Combo ULD 1441’ @ Rs.2000/- per annum additional charges in all the circles. All other terms and conditions shall remain same. The above instructions shall be effective with effect from 01-07-2016 in all the Circles.

Customers those who require static IP address may submit their request in nearest BSNL Customer Service Center. BSNL already offers static IP address to all unlimited broadband plans with fixed monthly charges of Rs 1000 and above.

If they could also boost up the 1441 plan with more GB's then customers will surely go for it. But for 15GB i don't think many opt it.
