India’s largest Landline service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced BSNL Freedom Offer – “Unlimited Free Calling to any network on all Sundays from BSNL landline” – for its Landline customers in all telecom circles from 15th August 2016.
As per the latest information, BSNL Landline customers may enjoy 24 Hours Unlimited Free Out going Calls to Any Network on all Sundays from 15th August 2016 on wards in addition to the existing night calling offer without any extra rental or additional cost.
To promote landline services, BSNL authorities has decided to introduce Unlimited
Free calling from BSNL landline to any network’s mobile & landline on all Sundays on PAN India
basis with effect from 15th of August 2016. It is also informed that, Unlimited Free calling scheme on all Sundays is in addition to free night calling to all networks
already being offered from 9PM to 7AM.

The new tariff i.e., Unlimited Free Calling to any network on all Sundays from BSNL landline will be applicable on PAN India Basis with effect from 15th of Aug 2016.
Yes, it is raining offers for BSNL Landline and Broadband customers. The post FUP download speed of all Unlimited Broadband plans were recently increased to 1 Mbps with handsome increase in high speed data usage. Now, a customer opting any BSNL unlimited broadband plan may enjoy minimum of 1 Mbps download speed even after his / her high speed FUP data usage. BSNL’s unlimited broadband plans starts from Rs 545/- and Unlimited Combo plans starts from Rs 675/- on wards.

really very good move from BSNL side.this will decrease the cancellation of BSNL landlines which is being happened day by day.we also planned to cancel our landline due to high bill ,but when i came to know this freedom offer ,we also planned to canceled my decision.i appreciate bsnl for their freedom offer.this will really cute to bsnl
disconnection by public is not due to high bills but because inefficient services provided moreover All higher ups hear nothing of the griveances of people.BSNL should first of all improve their services and take immediate steps in complaints by public.

Now do away the Rentals in landline and u will see tremendous surge for new landlines. All along people will go for broadband in larger numbers. I have discontinued bb for this reason. It seems that this offer is good on paper but in reality BSNL is fooling it's customers. We had applied for a landline connection in March 2016 but till date haven't got it. Everytime the reply to our query is ' shortage of cable'.
I have been also planning to disconnect LL. Connection. Ok Now I am going to re think…!!! Is this applicable to all networks, eg: call to other mobile networks…?

this is a fantsatic offer from BSNL and good to note that this is in addition to the existing free night calling. I also suggest that they should make all calls from landline to landline free too. The same offer is applicable in whole of UAE and all houses or offices have landlines installed and working. That also makes sending and receiving faxes free. Cheers to BSNL for this new additional offer. keep it up..
this is very good suggestion that 24×7 landline to landline call should be free.this will really increase the density of landline telephones in the country.
What if a call commences at 23.50hrs on a Sunday and ends at 00.05 or so on the next day, ie. Monday? Is it the starting time or ending time of the call that is the criteria for the purpose of the free call?
BSNL has to provide unlimited call to all network 24×7 for those who have broadband connection like airtel offering free.
