State run telecom major – BSNL has announced the introduction of special discounted recharge vouchers exclusive to its validity expired prepaid mobile customers with effect from 1st August 2021. As per the latest information, BSNL prepaid mobile customers who are presently in Grace Period 2 or byond Grace Period 2 can avail these special offers.
BSNL will be launching a new prepaid plan voucher with MRP of Rs 201/- with 90 days validity for such customers. BSNL’s New Prepaid Plan ₹201 (Exclusively for GP 2 and beyond GP 2 customers) allows customers to make 300 minutes free voice calls to any network, total 6GB data and total 99 free SMS for the entire validity period of 90 days. All other charges (Call, Data and SMS charges after freebies) will be as per BSNL Prepaid Plan ₹107 (Premium Per Minute Plan).
In addition to Prepaid Plan Voucher ₹201, BSNL has also decided to introduce two more discounted prepaid recharge vouchers as regular offers exclusively for valdity expired (for GP-2 & beyond GP-2 customers) prepaid mobile numbers. Validity expired BSNL prepaid numbers may enjoy features of STV ₹187 at a discounted rate of ₹139. Similarly, features & freebies of prepaid plan voucher ₹1499 will be made available to inactive BSNL customers at ₹1199. BSNL has also annouced that, these two special discounted recharge offers are available as a regular offer for all inactive BSNL prepaid mobile numbers which are presently in GP-2 or beyond GP-2 status.

Applicable Conditions on Discounted Vouchers ₹139 & ₹1199:-
- Value Added Service (if any) bundled with STV187 & PV1499 will not be extended with discounted voucher of Rs.139 & Rs.1199.
- GP-2 customers will receive two SMS daily with “features of voucher in short and the recharge link” of discounted voucher of Rs.139 and Rs.1199.
The above tariff will be applicable with effect from 01-08-2021 across all telecom circles. The implementation of the tariff will be made in accordance with 43rd Amendment of Telecom Tariff Order and orders / guidelines / clarifications issued by TRAI from time to time. BSNL has decided to launch these special offers and schemes in an attempt to increase its active customer base.
How to Know Status of your BSNL Prepaid Mobile Number?
To know the current status of your BSNL prepaid number, just dial *123# It will display the following information on screen – Plan Name, Validity, GP1, GP2 etc.
How can I activate BSNL Offer ₹139 or ₹201 or ₹1199 on my prepaid number?
BSNL recharge offers 139 / 201 / 1199 are available only to customers in GP2 or beyond GP2. It means, these plan are available to Inactive (Validity expired numbers with ‘Inactive Status’) BSNL Prepaid Mobile Numbers. To activate, just recharge your number with the denomination of voucher you need (i.e., either 139 or 201 or 1199).
Withdrawal of T-20 League STV 201 with effect from 1st August 2021
BSNL has also announced the withdrawal of existing Prepaid Combo STV ₹201 with effect from 01-08-2021 on PAN India basis. At present BSNL Combo STV 201 offer – Unlimited Local/STD calls to Any-Network in Home LSA and National Roaming Including while in Mumbai and New Delhi + Free 1GB Data/day + 100 SMS/day in Home LSA and National Roaming Including while in Mumbai and New Delhi + Cricket PRBT along with Cricket SMS Alerts. Validity of T-20 League STV ₹201 was 28 days.
