BSNL has announced NIL installation charges for all types of new Landline & Broadband (Copper / Fiber / Air Fiber) connections from 01-04-2025 to 31-03-2026.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced 100% Free Installation Charges for all types of new Landline and Broadband Internet customers for the new finanacial year 2025-26. As per the latest information, the PSU has launched this promotional scheme from 01-04-2025 to 31-03-2026 across all the telecom circles in India. Under this scheme, a new customer can avail 100% Free Installation Charges for new connections such as FTTH (Fiber Internet), Air Fiber, Landline etc.
An official statement from BSNL regarding the launch of Free Installation Charges for the Financial Year 2025-26 read as follows:-
“Installation charges for Landline/Broadband connections (Copper/FTTH/AirFibre) is NIL up to 31-03-2026 for all Account Types (except Govt. account type ) across monthly / higher payment subscription in all circles. The installation charges under monthly / higher payment subscription for Govt. Account Types will be levied as per existing instructions. Above instructions will be effective from 01-04-2025 to 31-03-2026.“
BSNL authorities has also instructed their IT project circle to ensure comply with all regulatory mechanism including on line reporting to TRAI and also to update the circle website.
