Anyone Actually uses BSNL’s FREE Email Service?
Huh…that’s an interesting question. While Gmail provides such wonderful features and facilities to customers free of cost, normal people won’t use BSNL’s Free Email Service. That’s the Truth!. Free Email Service from BSNL or other ISPs were mainly used by people in pre-Gmail Era, may be at the time of dial up connections. When broadband as well as Gmail services got popularity, people gradually shifted to those services which offer much more features / benfits. So this latest move from BSNL is not going to make a great impact to BSNL Broadband customers.
Dear readers, please share this latest information among all your friends and relatives who are using BSNL Broadband (FTTH / DSL Broadband) Services. How many of you are using the Free Email Service which was provided along with BSNL Broadband Connection? How many of you are aware that, BSNL offers Free Email Service with Broadband?

My BSNL landline no:080-26798994 (Bangalore) . I have been mainly using BSNL email for a few years now. Suddenly from about the beginning of this month(Nov.’21) I was unable to login to email as the login screen was not accepting email address and password. The login screen keeps returning endlessly. I did not receive any alert from BSNL.
Today I got a phone call from a Kolkata number +91 33 2202 0054 asking me to press 1 if I wanted to continue with BSNL email. It was an automated robotic call. I did not comply as I had justifiable doubt that it was a hoax or hacker call.
BSNL websites give no information on this development.
This kind of ditching the customers can be expected only of the worst private sector people. Here we have a gang which calls itself the Government, and does it in a meaner manner than the privates.
We may lose our email data, but there are plenty of alternatives to BSNL. It is better if they close down BSNL while it still has something more than zero value, and hand it over to some other Company.
Please send an email to [email protected] requesting them to reactivate. They will do the needful.
