BSNL's 5GB CUL & 12GB CUL FTTH (Bharat Fiber) plans revised to 700GB CUL & 899GB CUL for existing customers

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) revised its entire range of Bharat Fiber (FTTH) Broadband plans & ADSL Broadband Plans with effect from 1st March 2021. With this revision, BSNL formulated special exclusive tariff plans for Bharat Fiber (FTTH) customers.  Earlier, BSNL was offering the same ADSL Broadband plans in FTTH segment.

BSNL's 5GB CUL & 12GB CUL FTTH (Bharat Fiber) plans revised to 700GB CUL & 899GB CUL for existing customers

'5GB CUL' and '12GB CUL' DSL Broadband plans were offered to Bharat Fiber (FTTH) customers at fixed monthly charge of Rs 729 & Rs 899 respectively.  After the reformulation in March 2021, BSNL upgraded existing DSL customers in these two plans to Super Star 1 & Super Star 2 plans respectively. Now, BSNL authorities clarified that, existing Bharat Fiber (FTTH) Customers in these two plans will be revised to  700GB CUL & 899GB CUL without any change in fixed monthly charge. These two tariff plans - 700GB CUL & 899GB CUL - are available only to existing Bharat Fiber (FTTH) customers those who are previously in '5GB CUL' and '12GB CUL' plans respectively.

*The instruction of revised features under these plans are applicable only for existing customers as plans are no more in offer since 01-03-2021.

Above charges are exclusive of GST. All other terms and condition shall remain same. Above instructions shall be implemented with immediate effect on regular basis in all the Telecom circles (except Andaman & Nicobar circle).




BSNL 700GB CUL Bharat Fiber
BSNL Bharat Fiber (FTTH) customers under this plan will get 10Mbps download speed till 700GB and 2Mbps download speed after 700GB with fixed monthly charge of Rs 729/-. At present, BSNL is offering 100Mbps download speed till 100GB in Fiber TB plan at fixed monthly charge of just Rs 777/-. Hence customers in 700GB CUL Bharat Fiber Plan are advised to change their tariff plan to Fiber TB plan to get 10 times download speed by paying Rs 48/- extra. Customers may also enjoy increased post FUP download speed of 5Mbps in Fiber TB plan.

BSNL 899GB CUL Bharat Fiber
Existing Bharat Fiber (FTTH) customer in 899GB CUL plan will get 10Mbps download speed till 899GB and 5Mbps post FUP download speed. BSNL's latest Super Star 2 Bharat Fiber plan offers 150Mbps download speed till 2000GB data usage and 10Mbps speed after 2000GB. In addition, customers may also enjoy Disney+Hotstar premium subscription without any additional cost. Hence customers in 899GB CUL Bharat Fiber Plan are advised to change their tariff plan to Super Star 2 plan at fixed monthly charge of Rs 949/-  to enjoy 15 times more download speed and bundled OTT subscription to Disney+Hotstar by paying Rs 50/- extra.
