BSNL launched these new ultra fast Bharat Fiber (FTTH) broadband plans in an attempt to compete with recently announced plans by Reliance Jio. Soon after announcing Jio Fiber plans, Airtel also slashed their existing tariff plans to match with Jio Fiber plans. DeleteI am located in the surrounding of Aluva City Ernakulam District, have made an enquiry on the FTTH plans with BSNL. I am sorry to say that they haven't changed their attitude yet.I kept my phone connection on safe custody from last 18 months due to their negative approach.
ReplyDeleteRecently, after registering for FTTH connection on their portal, when I contacted, they simply said we don't do anything directly and to contact a cable TV provider for the connection. Unfortunately, the private operator said they don't have the plans announced by the BSNL. They have only a fix plan of Rs.918.0/month. Nothing else can be provided.
I am sad that BSNL is not bothered about the quality in service or their customers. The main issue is their offices deals with customers are either not properly updated or uninterested to gain advantage in the market. BSNL won't be able to succeed the competition even if they have good plans with their present work force.
please use bsnl selfcare portal you can easily change your plans

ReplyDeleteThis plan is available in Madurai(Tamilnadu)
ReplyDeletei jk egliable for these plan plz clarify
ReplyDeleteWhat happens after 90 days ? Back to lower speed and lower FUP limits? for same price ?
ReplyDeleteAfter 90 days will the plan change? If yes to what ?
ReplyDeleteEven the BSNL staff are not sure regarding this. For some customers they made them sign consent that they will be migrated to a higher plan (Fibre Basic-Rs 449 to Fibre Basic Plus- Rs. 599) after 6 months . Some are being migrated from Fibre Basic to Fibre Basic Plus before the completion of even one month, which is ridiculous. Seems like all they want is to lure customers to take the connection with an attractive lower plan and as soon as they are hooked they cant wait to move them to higher plans, even without intimation or any correspondence! We expect this from cut-throat private players, but not from the 'trusty' BSNL.
DeleteBsnl new fiber plans not implemented in my area.. they are saying here that we don't know about such plans..
