After announcing the withdrawal of certain unlimited broadband plans, BSNL has also decided to revise its existing unlimited broadband plans to GB/Day plans.
The latest revision is effective from 1st December 2018 on wards in all the telecom circles. Tariff revision is applicable to one of its most popular plan – Experience Unlimited Broadband 249 also. In addition to revision, BSNL has also launched one new Broadband Plan BBG Combo ULD 549.

For the Broadband customers, the charges under annual, two years and three years payment options may also be revised as per above Fixed monthly charge. However, existing customers, who are already under Annual/Two year/three year payment option before revision in tariff, they may not be charged the revised tariff till the expiry of their current Annual/Two year/three year subscription. Further, existing customers, who are recently opted Experience Unlimited Broadband 249 under monthly payment option before revision in tariff, they may not be charged the revised tariff till the expiry of Six months subscription period from date of activation of their broadband connection.
BSNL will also offer a cash bock of Rs.50/- per month for a period of 180 days from activation, to the new customer who opts ‘Experience Unlimited Broadband 299’ plan.
Since all the DSL BB plans are available on FTTH with same tariff, above plan shall also be available on FTTH with same tariff. All other terms and condition shall remain. These revised plans will be effective with effect from 01-12-2018 on regular basis.

This is a bad move. 1.5 GB/day is very low. We don't use bandwidth equally every day. Some days we require more than 1.5 GB and on other days we may not use at all. We could stream movies or watch youtube on days we felt like it, before. But now, even with a decent use, the speed is gonna be reduced to 1 mbps which is craap. It's like giving a box full of chocolates for a month but with a restriction of eating only one per day. Not FAIR. Sincerely hoping for bsnl to reconsider.
Totally agreed. This is an idiotic move by BSNL. Landline broadband with daily FUP makes no sense! Unlimited daily usage is why broadband users exist! For usage with daily FUP, we have 4G services by JIO, Idea and Airtel that are way faster and cheaper.
The guy in BSNL who proposed this genius idea needs to get kicked out.

Sometimes we have to download large files urgently, and this per day limit is very bad..
We are giving money for use in full bandwidth for enitre time,
For day purpose we have many other companies which have very low offers compared to this..
So please reverse it, or we will be forced to change bsnl broadband..

Then what is the advantage of taking the fixed connection of bsnl? Shall we recharge a 4g pack of any other operator which is giving more data per day?We have to rethink.
Pathetic move by BSNL. Customers are experiencing flat 8Mbps as per the Happy Browsing offer for more than half a year. Now suddenly implementing 1.5Gb/day is a pathetic move by BSNL as all other operators are providing more value for money plans. In INDIA wireless operators are better than BSNL broadband.

We have been enjoying Happy Browsing offer for a long time now, with 8 or 10 mbps speed and unlimited downloads. Not only are they increasing the monthly charge by Rs. 50 (with some fucked-up sms "As a gesture of rewarding our loyal customers..", are they honestly listening to themselves), but Happy browsing offer is being withdrawn, and is being replaced with this non-sense daily FUP plan. Makes us re-evaluate the advantage of landline broadband service. Even Jio gives 1.5 GB/day for Rs. 149 along with unlimited voice 100 sms/day and Jio Apps subscription. Very bad move by guys at BSNL Corporate. No better way to wish Happy New Year to your "loyal" customers !

thay remove happy browsing now net sucks if thay done withdraw recharge then bsnl will suffer from disconnection from lot of customers not happy to see this topup option from bsnl hoping for 3 years subs till last month but now it sucks if thay dont withdraw then bye bye bsnl will go to jio fiber r other fiber atleast thay dont do that

An unwarranted move by BSNL to fix Daily limits& call it unlimited Plan. The charges are very high, minimum 675 bucks and GST. I have been a loyal Customer of BSNL for decades. But such Thuglak type reforms in Tariff & Benefits will not win Loyalty anymore
