Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the revision in SMS tariff for its postpaid 3G and 2G mobile customers in all the circles.
As per the latest information, BSNL will be offering 100 free SMS per Day for all postpaid mobile plans of Rs 399/- and above and 100 free SMS per month for all postpaid mobile plans below Rs 399/-. In addition, BSNL has also revised optional SMS pack worth Rs 15/- for its postpaid mobile customers.
An official statement from BSNL regarding the revision in SMS tariff for Postpaid 3G & 2G mobile customers read as follows:
The competent authority has decided to rationalize the SMS under postpaid mobile services as under:
- 100 SMS per day for the Postpaid plans of Rs. 399 & above.
- 100 SMS per month for the Postpaid plans below Rs. 399.
All other terms and conditions will remain same as per the respective plan. The above tariff was implemented with effect from 01-08-2018 in all telecom circles.

All other terms and conditions will remain same. The above revised optional SMS pack was implemented with effect from 16-07-2018. The implementation of the tariff is made in accordance with 43rd Amendment of Telecom Tariff Order and orders/guidelines/clarifications issued by TRAI from time to time.
