BSNL's promotional offer for Smart phone users: 1 GB Data Free for 30 days

State owned telecom giant Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has decided to give a special free offer for Smartphone users to promote digital India drive and to increase internet users in prepaid mobile services.

On PAN India basis BSNL offers 1 GB free Data for the Smart Phone users who are not using BSNL GSM Data services. The intention of this offer is to promote number of internet users in BSNL network. We reported earlier in February 2017 that BSNL is planning to launch Free Data Offer for its Smartphone users in all the circles.
Shri R.K.Mittal, Director (CM) BSNL Board informed that this offer will encourage the smart phone users to experience best BSNL Data services.
Details of BSNL Smartphone offer
One GB free Data with 30 days validity is to be offered for those Smart Phone (Andriod, Apple iOS, Blackberry OS, Windows OS, BADA and WebOS etc.) users who are not using BSNL GSM Data services.

This offer will be implemented with in 15 days from 24-03-2017 in all telecom circles. All other terms and conditions would remain same. The implementation of the tariff is to be made in accordance with 43rd Amendment of Telecom Tariff Order and orders/guidelines/clarifications issued by TRAI from time to time. The offer will be available to BSNL prepaid mobile customers who are not using Mobile Data Services.
