State run telecom major, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), has announced special discount scheme of Zero Initial Charges to attract new customers to FTTH (Fiber To The Home) Broadband Service.
As per the latest information, new Fiber Broadband (FTTH) customers may enjoy absolutely Zero Initial Charges which includes Free Installation Charges, Free monthly rental and Zero security deposit for FTTH Modem (ONT). These promotional offers are available from 15th February 2017 to 31st March 2017 in all telecom circles.
As we reported earlier, BSNL launched Free Installation Offer for new FTTH Broadband customers in all the circles from 23-01-2017 for a period up to
31-03-2017.

In an attempt to increase FTTH connection base and to utilize spare FTTH capacity, the PSU has decided “to introduce a promotional scheme in all the circles for a period up to 31-03-2017, to waive off monthly rental charges of Rs. 150/- for FTTH ONT and Security Deposit of Rs.1000/- for FTTH ONT (when ONT is taken on rent from BSNL), only to the new FTTH BB customers who opt FTTH BB plan with FMC of Rs 500/- and above.”

New customers may avail BSNL Fiber Broadband services with Zero Initial Charges during the period. Zero Initial Charges is applicable to Voice, Broadband and Combo plans provided through optical fiber cable (OFC). Customers booking their FTTH connection during the offer period may not pay FTTH ONT (FTTG Modem) monthly rental of Rs 150/- and security deposit of Rs 1000/- in addition to the existing Free Installation charges.
