PAN India 3G service provider, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the launch of a new promotional offer – ‘BSNL Welcome Offer’ – in which the PSU will be offering 300MB Free Data for each new prepaid mobile connection till 31st January 2017.
BSNL Welcome Offer will be available exclusive to all new prepaid mobile customers in all the telecom circles with immediate effect. The PSU has decided to launch this promotional free data offer in an attempt to promote the data usage among BSNL’s new subscribers.
The promotional scheme will be applicable for all prepaid plans. Plans, wherein less than 300 MB
free data is being given, shall be offered additional freebies in the above scheme to make
the total freebies equal to 300 MB data. However, if any plan offers free data more than
300 MB, they will continue to get the same freebies without any change.

However, the free data usage of 300 MB has to be consumed by the customer within 30 days after activation. All other terms and conditions will remain same. The above offer will be implemented in all the telecom circles with immediate effect. The implementation of the tariff will be made in accordance with 43rd Amendment of
Telecom Tariff Order and orders/guidelines/clarifications issued by TRAI from time to time.

At present BSNL offers 1GB free data for each new prepaid mobile connections in Student Special plan & Freedom prepaid plan and 50 MB free data in all other plans like – Mithram, Per Second, Per Minute, Pyari Jodi, Free Roaming plan. As per this latest offer, new customers enrolled in all these plans will get a total of 300 MB free data usage for the first 30 days. For customers those who need TRUE Unlimited 3G data usage without any speed restriction, BSNL launched special unlimited 3G data plans – Unlimited Data STVs 498 & 1099.
