Among BSNL units, all telecom circles achieved positive growth except Karnataka (-8,053) in wireless subscriber addition June 2016. The best performers are : UP East (+2,08,406), Bihar (+1,70,503), Rajasthan (+1,25,718), UP West (+1,24,659) and Kerala (+1,20,930).



In Wired Broadband segment, BSNL holds the No.1 position with 9.88 million customers, followed by Bharati Airtel with 1.82 million customers.

Mobile Number Portability (MNP)
In the month of June 2016, a total of 5.16 million subscribers submitted their requests for MNP. With this, the cumulative MNP requests increased from 219.27 million at the end of May 2016 to 224.43 million at the end of June 2016.
