Exclusive: BSNL revises Mobile TV Data Offers by reducing validity of existing STVs from 16th June 2015 onwards

PAN India 3G service provider, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the revision of Mobile TV - Special Tariff Vouchers (STVs) from 16th June 2015 onwards across India. These STVs allows BSNL Mobile Customers to watch Live TV Channels Online in their Mobile phones.

BSNL offers these Mobile Television services in association with different content providers viz, M/s P.K.Online, M/s Apalya Technologies Pvt. Ltd, M/s, & M/s Digivive Services Pvt. Ltd. etc. Agreement between BSNL and M/s Exnxt Software Pvt. Ltd. has been expired. Therefore, bundled data STV of Rs 82 with M/s Exnxt is withdrawn.

Major changes  in Mobile TV Packs (STVs) are summarised below:

1. The validity of Mobile TV pack of Rs 178 will be reduced from the existing 26 days to 22 days without any reduction in the free data usage.
2. The validity of Mobile TV pack of Rs 182 will be reduced from the existing 26 days to 22 days without any reduction in the free data usage.
3. The validity of Mobile TV pack worth Rs 211 will be reduced to 15 days from the existing validity of 19 days without any reduction in the free data usage.
4. Agreement between BSNL and M/s Exnxt Software Pvt. Ltd. has been expired. Therefore, bundled data STV of Rs 82 with M/s Exnxt is withdrawn

The latest revision will be implemented across all BSNL telecom circles with effect from 16-06-2015 onwards.

Recently, BSNL has announced a number of tariff revisions under Prepaid 3G/2G Data STVs and Prepaid Voice Calling STVs. Some of them are listed below:

• BSNL to make DATA STV 68 as a regular offer || Revises all prepaid 3G/2G Data STVs from 1st June 2015 onwards

• BSNL to revise Voice STVs by Reducing Validity & Freebies from 9th June 2015 onwards across India

• Free National Roaming for BSNL Customers across India from June 15, 2015 onwards
